Rob Crysdale founded Landcare in 1991. With one truck and a lawnmower he set out to create a business focused on natural solutions, and nurturing the existing environment by using 100% organic fertilizers and maintenance techniques - a leading edge business model at the time.
The addition of a dedicated construction crew in 1999 solidified Landcare's commitment to landscape construction. Due to Rob's determination and dedication, 20 years later Landcare remains 100% organic, continues to build beautiful landscapes, and has grown to over 25 employees, nine vehicles, and definitely more than one lawnmower.
Landcare's clients confidently refer Landcare to their friends because they are so impressed with the high quality service, the passion for horticulture, great design and construction.
Landcare has evolved in to a multi-faceted landscape maintenance and construction company, with its foundation squarely built on being organic and creating naturalized gardens. A strong team has developed to ensure that each clients needs are personally met with high quality services and installations.
Winner of two Landscape Ontario Awards of Excellence, the Landcare team boasts educated horticulturists, landscape designers, stone masons, carpenters and other landscape specialists.
