Rob founded Landcare in 1991 with one truck and one lawnmower. Since that time he has continued his education and training in horticulture, design and construction and has built his business to over 25 strong with a roster of happy clients.
While the work speaks for itself, Rob is often called upon to share his expertise in seminars through Landscape Ontario (www.landscapeontario.com), most often to speak about organic landscaping. Rob received his Green Roof Professional Accreditation in March 2010 and his Certified Landscape Professional designation in April 2011. He has a business degree from Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec and is an avid skier and fisherman. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two children
Nancy’s passion for gardening and keen interest in design and construction led her to choose Landscape Design as her second career. She is a certified Landscape Technician (Humber College, top of her class in 2006), but Landcare has also benefited from the experience she gained in her first career in IT. After three years with Landcare, she stays up to date with seminars and courses through Landscape Ontario. When not working in her garden, she can be found at the cottage, on the golf course, or curling at the Royal Canadian Curling Club.
Lana brings over 15 years of customer service experience to the table at Landcare. In addition to her ability to keep the office and staff operating smoothly, Lana is also an accomplished writer and communicator with an Editing Certification from George Brown.
Ted, along with being Rob’s younger brother, is also an accomplished account manager with over a decade of experience servicing customers and clients. He has a background in finance and computer science and has been with the company for over five years. When he’s not handling accounts and making sure the business is running smoothly, Ted can be found on the golf course.
Graeme's extensive experience in landscape maintenance and planting makes him the perfect technician for all your gardening needs. He is designing all of Landcare's Urns and Annuals.
Eric holds an advanced diploma in Landscape Design from Fanshawe College. Before joining Landcare, Eric was the Junior Designer at a landscape architecture firm that specialized in healing gardens for public institutions. He also has owned and operated his own design build and maintenance company. Since the age of sixteen, he has worked with stone masons, home builders, contractors, landscapers, and architects, which inspired him to pursue a career in Landscape Design. He is a member of APLD (the Association of Professional Landscape Designers) and is working towards accreditation.
